Now entering it’s second year under SHAC President Joe Leavitt the SHAC School of Drama is kicking it into high gear this fall! Unlike past classes that ended in a small showcase for parents the fall class will culminate in a two weekend run of the SHAC Christmas production featuring the school of dance, youth choir and the school of drama.

Each class will be working on their own portion of the program and will be using the Saturday morning classes as rehearsal time. The plays have yet to be selected.

Drama I: (Saturdays from 9-9:50 am) This is for first graders and up. Class will begin with simple exercises to get the young performer comfortable on the stage and then move into rehearsal for the December production. There will be a noticeable difference in the confidence level of your child at the completion of this class! Class limited to 15 students.

Drama II: (Saturdays from 10-10:50 am) Is for students from the 5^th grade through high school. Like Drama I this class starts slow to make sure each performer feels comfortable on the stage. Simple drama games and exercises are used to build confidence and trust. Class time will also be used for rehearsal of the December production material. Class limited to 15 students.
