School of Music Class Descriptions 

Mini Maestros  See Flyer

Ages 18 months to 5 years A four week session offered quarterly throughout the year. The next session  will be offered in Spring 2009 and will be based around a Spring theme. Check back for dates. The classes will use books, movement, singing, and instruments to get children excited about music. Caregivers/Parents are asked to attend the class with their child.


SHAC Children’s Choir    See Flyer
Ages 6 to 12 years  Children will have a blast while learning invaluable music skills!  Group singing and basic singing techniques, music fundamentals, basic sight singing skills (solfege), exposure to various musical genres, and the opportunity to perform!   

SHAC Youth Choir 

Ages 13 to 18 years Youth will learn solfege sight singing techniques, brush up on music fundamentals, and have a great time together while preparing music of various genres to perform.  Students will be invited to at least one “field trip” during the season, have opportunities for solo work, and be able to hone their singing skills.
